Recommendation to Replace Pollak # 12-705 7-Way Connector
Question:
I have a Pollak 12-705 receptacle on my truck. The only problem is that the door is broken. Any chance of getting just the door? I could drive out the hinge pin and replace the door with a new one.

The door/cover for your Pollak 12-705 7-Way connector is not available from the manufacturer as a replacement part. In order to fix this issue, your best option is to simply replace the connector itself with the current version of your model with the Pollak # PK12-707E.
This will provide a nice upgrade to the existing receptacle on your truck with its non-corroding, shock-resistant interior design and a spring-loaded lid that should stay in place. I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
