Options for Using a 5th Wheel Hitch on a 2007 Dodge Ram Pickup with B&W Gooseneck Hitch Installed

I have a BWgooseneck hideaway ball in my truck right now . Want to install 5th wheel rails which ihave .what install kit do I need that will fit and not interfere with existing gooseneck brackets . 2007 Dodge ram mega cab

I have bad news and good news for you. The bad news is that you won't be able to install typical 5th wheel rails in the bed of your 2007 Dodge Ram Pickup because the brackets from the B&W gooseneck hitch use the same mounting locations. The good news is that we have adapters that you can use to get around this.
If you already have a 5th wheel hitch that is compatible with industry standard base rails then all you need is the Demco 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter # DM6140. This installs in the gooseneck hitch and gives you standard base rails.
If you don't already have a 5th wheel hitch then I recommend using the B&W Companion hitch. This comes in a fixed version # BWRVK3500 as well as a sliding version # BWRVK3400 and installs directly in your B&W gooseneck hitch. This is considered by most to be the best 5th wheel hitch out there. One of the best features is that the head is easily removed making it easier to install/uninstall the hitch.
Please note that you cannot use an automatic sliding 5th wheel hitch or a pin box with a rotating turret (like a Sidewinder) with your B&W gooseneck hitch.
I also recommend installing the Curt # C56071 if you don't already have a 7-Way in the bed of your Ram.
