Reese Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit Recommendation for 2012 GMC Sierra Short Bed

Question:

I have a Reese #30031 fifth wheel hitch and rails but I need the brackets and hardware kit to install it back in my truck a 2012 GMC Sierra 6.5’ box with instructions. Can you provide me the correct part number? I think RP30035 is right but want to be sure Thank you

Since you already have Reese rails the # RP30035 would not be an ideal solution for you since it comes with rails. Your best solution is the Reese bracket kit part # RP50066 which is a custom bracket kit confirmed as a fit for your 2012 GMC Sierra with a short bed. Custom kits will offer a much quicker install that does not require frame drilling like universal kits do.

For new hardware to attach the rails to the brackets (since this hardware is considered one time use) your best option is the part # 58164 and you'd be set.
