The Firestone Air Command I part # F2158 is an air compressor system that is is designed to be used with a set of airbags like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2250. Although the airbag kit will be vehicle specific, the air compressor kit will not. The only requirement of the air compressor kit is space and since you have plenty on your 2008 Chevrolet Silverado there should be no problems finding a place to mount it. If you need an idea where to mount or run the lines you can reference the install video on a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado.
This system comes with a compressor, single needle gauge display, single path inflation valve, and all of the other lines and hardware needed for installation. The system will allow you to inflate the air springs on your truck without having to exit the vehicle.
