do you have to remove a turnoverball assembly to install a rail kit to mount a fifthwheel hitch

You can install a fifth wheel hitch directly to the B and W Turnoverball hitches with either the Companion # BWRVK3400 for a slider hitch (if you have a short bed), or part # BWRVK3500 for a fixed hitch (if you have a long bed).
The other option is the Curt X5 adapter # 16310 that is designed to fit your gooseneck hitch and provide you with a set of industry standard rails like what most fifth wheel hitch mount to.
If your goal was to install a set of industry standard rails though you'd have to remove the Turnoverball though.
