Installing the Replacement Rails # DM6014 on a 2015 Ram 2500 for Older Demco Hijacker FWH24PA
Question:
Hi I just bought the Demco fifth wheel brackets DM8552025 for my 2015 Ram 2500 short bed. Im trying to use an older Hijacker FWH24PA hitch in my truck. the bars that come for that hitch have different sets of holes for the mounting bolts. What is the width of the inner most set of holes? The front brackets seem to have a 34 inch space between them. Thanks, demco DM6014

The mounting points on the Replacement Rails # DM6014 measure 10", 20-1/2", and 29-3/4" apart on center (see attached photo). These are meant for Hijacker 5th wheel hitches made before 2012.
When it comes to placement of the brackets on your 2015 Ram 2500 the instructions state to mount the rearmost rail 28-3/4" from the tailgate end of your bed (not including the tailgate though). Then you simply use your older Demco Hijacker FWH24PA to determine where the forwardmost rail will sit. I have attached a picture of this part that is in the linked instructions as well.
