Yes, you can use CTEK battery charger # CTEK56353 to provide long-term maintenance of the RV batteries. This charger will not over charge the batteries and it will recondition them so they will be like new when you get the RV out of storage!

I have a 2015 Ford Transit with a WFCO WF8955PECB 55 Amps Power Center Converter Charger. I am currently looking a adding CTEK 120A Off Road Charging System and house battery. Currently I am not looking at adding solar at the present time but maybe in the future. I am looking for a way to keep the starter battery and house battery charged when parked. The question is what charger would you recommend to have permently wired into the van so I do not have to turn on any operation buttons to make it work and it will not be damanged when the engine is running. thanks for your time.

For this type of application I really like the NOCO chargers we have available like the 1 battery # 329-GEN1 or the 2-battery bank # 329-GENM2. These are extremely durable, waterproof units so you don't have to worry about keeping them mounted 24/7, regardless of where you're traveling, and the integrated eyelets on the wiring allows for a more permanent installation to the battery.

Thanks for the quick reply. Will anything bad happen if the van engine is running with the Noco plugged in?Will the NOCO and my WFCO WF8955PECB have any problems if they are both plugged in at the same time. In the winter I normally warm up the engine why I am breaking camp or in the heat of the Texas summers I will sometimes run the van AC to cool things off faster for the roof top unit.thanks for your time

I would unplug the NOCO charger from shore power before starting the van. It could potentially cause an issue and since the battery will be getting a charge from the alternator at that point, the charger just won't be needed.
