Can Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock be Used when Towing

Hi there, Its this hitch pin strong enough for towing a 5x8 enclosed trailer? uhaul And will it reduce the sway of the hitch? With your help I ordered the Gen Y sleeve style device for my 2012 impreza. Since my hitch was mounted inside the bumper with limited clearance it was the only thing that fit. Unfortunately the aluminum stretches when i tightened the bolts. Even after hammering it in place and tightened it it would pop right out as soon as I accelerated. bought a reese hollow tow bar angled edge in the hope of having more options.

Yes, anti-rattle hitch pin # SHP2082 can handle a 5x8 enclosed trailer. Provided that the ball mount used has a hollow shank, which is what you have indicated, then you can use this device. I have linked a video review of it for you.
When tightened it will prevent a ball mount from rattling around so much but no device can completely eliminate all movement between a ball mount and hitch.
