Axle-Less Suspension With 3,500 lb Capacity for Older Trailer

Question:

I Modified an old trailer to reduce its width, then I put a 5KW army generator on it. The generator is probably over 1200 pounds and the Springs on this old trailer are so wishy-washy Im afraid its gonna Spring itself into a barrel roll! Is there a 3500 pound axle that I can get to shrink down to the roughly 50inch width of the special purpose Trailer? Ready to buy now. Thanks

There is a great option for you, but not a 3,500 lb axle that is going to "shrink" to the 50 inch width of the trailer.

Instead, I highly recommend checking out the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension System, which will replace your axle and fits any trailer width. Part # ASR3500S05 has a 3,500 lb capacity and has straight spindles on it and works with Dexter Hubs # 84545UC1-EZ.

I have added a link to a video review of this system for you to check out as well.
