Will Ventline Vanair 12-Volt Trailer Roof Vent # VP-543SP Fit Curved Roof of a Ford Transit Connect
Question:
The roof of the van is ever so slightly curved and has ribs. Can this 6” ventline product be installed on this van’s roof without any problems? Also, what is the outer dimensions of this product. I know the hole is about 6 and 1/4 inches, but what is the overall width so i cas see if the ribs on the roof will interfere. Thx!

Expert Reply:
The slight curve of your van roof should not be an issue given that the Ventline Vanair 12-Volt Trailer Roof Vent # VP-543SP is a smaller unit. As such the curvature of the roof in the area where you mount the fan will not be a factor.
This fan has numerous diameters depending on where you are measuring. Luckily another Expert took a bunch of these measurements and I have included a picture showing them for you.
