Replacement Ladder Needed with Tight Return at the Top
Question:
I am looking for a RV ladder for my 2015 pleasure way xlmb. I need to have a tight return for the top mount, such as shown for the surco 502l 10-1/2” between the hoop but need a longer length than 84-1/2”. Prefer 8 ft. Or longer if modifiable? I have a skylight and solar panel close to the edge of the roof in back.

I do have a solution for you but none of our other ladders have as tight of a return as the Surco Universal Exterior RV Ladder # SP502L that you referenced.
Since you basically just need the Surco ladder but just a little longer I recommend using either the Surco RV Ladder Extension # SP504L which is 30-1/2" long or the Stromberg Carlson RV Ladder Extension # LA-148 which is 48" long. The Surco rests on your RV but the Stromberg Carlson rests on the ground.
