Jack Recommendation for Replacing Shelby Jack 5784

Question:

Good afternoon, It looks like you have probably answered this, but I wanted to double check. I have a Shelby 5784 jack that I lost the handle to. It is a weld-on bolt-thru. The bolts pattern to the welded plate is 3inch x 5-1/2inch and the pin hole pattern is about 3inch square. From what I can tell, it appears the best approach is to replace the jack using the bolt-thru bolt to attach the new jack to the existing plate. Is that correct and is the Fulton Trailer Jack - FXP10W0301the best bet? Is there any benefit in going up to the 1500# Fulton Trailer Jack - F141132? Again, sorry if youve answered this a thousand times. I have pictures of everything if that would help. Thanks so much,

What we have heard is that the Fulton # FTJ120W0301 does fit the mounting plate of the Shelby Jack 5784. This will be your best option.

This jack has a 1,200 lb lifting capacity which would be more than enough.
