recommended fifth wheel hitch and sidewinder king pin for a 2017 ford f150 1500 with a 5-1/2' bed. Current pin box is a 1621 Lippert.

Since you have a short bed, the Reese wheel hitch # RP30047 you linked to will require use of a Sidewinder like # RP61422 to prevent the nose of your trailer from coming into contact with the cab of your 2017 Ford F-150 and Wedge Kit # SWW-03 to prevent the king pin from pivoting in the jaws of your hitch. To complete your set up you'll also need some base rails, I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP56034-53 as these custom fit rails will use the existing holes in your frame to reduce installation time.
