Timbren Helper Springs/Suspension Enhancement for a 2001 Nissan Xterra 4x4

Question:

I have a 2001 Nissan Xterra with a 3inch suspension lift. Its a torsion bar suspension with extended upper control arms and stock lower control arms. As Ive tried rockier trails, Im having to replace upper and lower ball joints and outter tie rods ends way too often. Ive stiffened my adjustable shocks to take up some of the off-road hits. It was suggested that I try a sumo spring or Timbren. I need to retain a fair amount of flex, but would like to strengthen the front IFS. Suggestions? Thanks

Timbren springs # TFXF1004A are the only front suspension enhancement product available for the 2001 Nissan Xterra 4x4. Since it was designed to fit stock, non-lifted models, you will also need spacers to take up the gap from the lift kit.

If the distance between the factory bump stops and the control arm increased by 3 inches you would need a total of 6 of the 1 inch spacers # A25723-90AH00. You will also need to obtain longer bolts locally since the spacers will be adding 3 inches to the overall height of the springs.

If the amount of space between the stock bump stop and control arm changed by something other than 3 inches let me know and I can recommend the right combination of spacers. Once installed the front Timbren springs will be in contact with the control arms. A slight gap (fraction of an inch) would be fine.
