Available Steps and Nerf Bars for 1979 Ford F-250
Question:
Ultimately I would like to frame mount a set so that when you step on them they do not flex but if there is a super strong mount to go to the floor or other area which one would be the best for me? I hate to cut hole in the floor or rocker of this truck and would rather drill and weld to the frame.

Although this would be a very sturdy mounting point for welded-on steps of some kind the truck's frame is so far inboard of the doors that there would be excessive stress put on those welded mounts and they would be very likely to fail. Although the rocker panels are not as strong as the frame the steps that mount to them, such as DeeZee # DZ3700301 and those shown on the linked page, would be further to the outsides of the truck and so have less physical stress on them once mounted.
Select your cab style using the drop-down menu tool at the top of the linked page; you will then see products that fit your cab style.
We do not have frame-mount steps for your 1979 Ford F-250.
