Will Smaller Kids Bike Fit the Freedom SuperClamp EX # SA4026F

I do have a solution for you but when I spoke with my contact at Saris he said that the smallest diameter tire that the Freedom SuperClamp EX # SA4026F can accommodate is a 20" wheel. Since your kids bike is smaller than that you wouldn't be able to use this bike rack.

Instead you would want to use a frame mount bike rack like the Saris Freedom # SA4414B. Since this rack doesn't secure the bikes by their wheels the cradles can be moved closer to accommodate the smaller bike. This bike rack does not come a hitch lock or bike lock, but to add some security to your rack and bikes you need the locks # SA3022 and # SA981.

The Saris Freedom # SA4414B is a great option to use to transport your bikes! When I was looking for different options I was trying to search for bike racks that had all of the same features as the Freedom SuperClamp EX # SA4026F. The Saris Freedom # SA4414B has most of the same features just minus the locks. You can easily add those with the 8' Cable Lock and Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock # SA984 that come keyed alike. Or purchase them separately with # SA3022 and # SA981. As far as the folding features of this bike rack when you don't have bikes loaded, the answer is maybe. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the bike rack is a mere 10" when folded up. You will need to measure center of the hitch pin hole to where you would clear the bumper on your Odyssey. If that measure is more than 10 inches it would be able to fold it out of the way when the bikes are unloaded.
