Tekonska Brake Controller Recommendation for 2018 Ram 3500

Question:

I have a 2018 RAm 3500 that didnt come with a break controller. So was wanting to get one, does the dealer have to do anything to my truck to make it work or since I didnt have one, it will work when plugged in? Thanks

We have great brake controllers confirmed as a fit for your 2018 Ram 3500 that would not require you to take the truck to a dealer to have anything activated.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller part # 90195. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes. This will be the last brake controller you buy. It can easily be transferred to future vehicles as well.

Then to install it all you need is the part # 3024-P which fits the plug under the dash of your truck.
