Replacement Snap Up Bracket Recommendation for Reese Weight Distribution System
Question:
hello, I recently acquired a weight distribution hitch with a camper. I would like to install the same brackets on another trailer i have so that i can use the same hitch for both trailers. here is what i can make out on the sticker: 1. its a 2inch hitch bar 2. has a part #54970 3. standard 13inch long 4. Weight Distilled 12000 lb. 5. tongue weight 1200 lb or 1000 lb 6. made in plymouth, MI I just want to make sure i get the correct brackets for the trailer. can you help? ill try and take a picture when im out at the camper this weekend if it helps identify the correct bracket. Thanks

Sounds like you have a standard Reese weight distribution system based on the part number for the shank that you mentioned. So for frame chain hangers we have the # RP6637 which comes with a set of hangers for both sides of the trailer plus a lift handle.
