Can an Extend-A-Shower Fit a 46 Inch Shower/Tub Opening

is there one of the stomberg carlson extend a shower that will fit a 46inch tub?

The Extend-A-Shower options are either too long or too short for a 46 inch opening so what you can do is get a longer one, such as # EXT-5460C, and trim it. The connector pieces at the ends of the longest rod are held in with screws. Remove the screw at one end and work the fitting out. Then you can trim that long bar down some, about 10 inches, and then put the fitting piece back in the end and drill a hole and insert the screw.
A hacksaw can be used to make the cut. The cut will need to be as straight as possible and be sure to use a file to clean up any sharp edges.
