Rear Axle Air Bag Suspension Kit and Compressor for 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty
Question:
Will the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System improve the ride on a 2016 for f250 when is empty?

Some heavy-duty pickups with extra-sturdy suspensions can have a pretty stiff ride when they have no trailer tongue weight or cargo weight on the rear suspension.
Timbren kits like # TFR250SDG are designed specifically for well-loaded conditions, meaning when you have substantial trailer tongue weight or heavy cargo in the bed. These rubber jounce springs only engage the axle when the truck is under a load, which pushes down on the suspension so that the spring and axle make contact. For unloaded conditions such as an empty bed and no trailer weight the spring will not engage with the axle. Timbren kits are great products but they are not designed to soften the ride of an empty pickup.
The better option in your circumstances is an air bag kit which can be adjusted to the pressure needed to subjectively smooth out the feel of the truck's suspension. Ideally you would also use a compressor kit so that you can adjust the ride quality by feel as you drive, instead of having to pull into a service station, air them up and then get back in to test the feel of that pressure level.
You can use Firestone kit # F2597 which fits both 2WD and 4WD trucks along with the heavy-duty Air Command compressor kit # F2097.
