How Does Replacement Stay-Put Cradle Attach to a Thule Roadway Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack
Question:
How is this carrier attached to the bar of the bike rack? I want to make sure it cannot slide on the bar once it is tightened.

The Replacement Stay-Put Cradle, # 853-7887, fits snugly onto the arm of the Thule Roadway Bike Racks, # TH912XT or # TH914XT and is held in place with friction. It takes considerable force to move the cradles on the arms of the rack, though they can be moved.
