Can the Swagman XTC-2 # S64670 Fit on a Camper with a Spare Tire

Question:

Im looking to get a bike rack for the back of my camper. The camper has a spare wheel and tire mounted to the back. Could I still use this rack for 2 bikes with the spare wheel in place? If not, could I use it with an extender, 8 In.?

I do have a bike rack that you can use at the rear of your camper but unfortunately the Swagman XTC-2 # S64670 hasn't been tested and approved to handle the extra stress caused by the movement at the rear of a camper. Instead I recommend going with the Dispatch # S44FR which is a slight upgrade and has been rated for use on a camper.

You can determine if this will fit past your spare tire by measuring from your hitch pin hole to the furthest edge of your tire. For the Dispatch from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack (the rise part of the shank) is 12" and that same measurement to the closest wheel cradle is 18".

If you find out that this doesn't fit just let me know and I can help you find the bike rack that fits your needs.
