WHAT IS RECOMMENDED LOCATION TO MOUNT THE RM-8700 in a 2011 Honda fit

The best place to mount the box/controller part of the InvisiBrake # RM-8700 on any vehicle is under the driver's seat if there is space. You can check if there is enough space for the box which is 8-3/4" long x 8-3/4" wide x 2-3/4" tall.
If there isn't enough space under a seat then use the dimensions given above to locate a spot that will work for you.
You might also consider the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 which operates the same way as the InvisiBrake but with a controller box that is a little smaller at 8" long x 5" wide x 2-1/4" tall.
