Can Thule Canyon XT Cargo Basket and Thule ProRide Roof Bike Rack Fit on Crossbars

Question:

Hello, my car is the 2012 Mazda 3 hatchback I have the aeroblade edge bars fixed mount. Currently I have a canyon xt cargo basket mounted and was wondering if I could install the Thule upride their newest model of a bike rack on top of or in conjunction with the basket. Please let me know if this is possible ! I know I read something where it is for one of Thulesfoot previous I believe the proride. Thank you

Since there isn't a way to attach a roof bike rack directly to the top of a Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket part # TH859XT you'd have to verify that you have room next to the basket for it to fit.

The ProRide # TH598004 is 13 inches wide, but since it mounts in the Aeroblade Edge channel on top of the bars it could mount at the very end of the bar if needed and roughly half of it would hang over the outside of the bar. So you'd need to slide the Canyon XT as for over to the side of the roof rack of your vehicle and see how much crossbar space you have left to see if this will work.
