Would I need the extension, due to the spare tire on my FJ cruiser?

To find out if the Rhino-Rack T-Load Hitch Mounted Load Assist and Support Bar RTL002 will fit beyond the spare tire on your 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser, there is a simple measurement you can take.
Holding a straight edge (like a yardstick) against the back of your spare tire, measure from the center of your hitch pin hole to the straight edge (see accompanying photo). If it is less than 8-1/2" you can use the T-Load # RTL002.
