Will CIPA Towing Mirror # CM45000 Fit a 10 Inch Vertical Hole Spacing on a 1976 Ford Truck
Question:
i was told the bolt pattern in my 1976 ford f259 had once accommodated a west coast mirror. however, any west coast mirror i find for sale does not give the distance between the bolt parts. my truck is 10.5 inches vertical distance from the top bolts to the bottom 2 bolts. every mirror i see appears to be about twice that distance between the bolts. was this a custom mirror on my truck, or am i not understanding the dimensions im reading on these mirrors for sale?

On the CIPA mirror # CM45000 the distance from the center of the holes at the top to the centerline between the 2 bottom holes is 17-1/2 inches. The two holes at the top are 3-7/8 inches apart on center. If you are so inclined you could shorten the arms to the length needed and drill through them so that it matches the hole patter on your truck.
