4-Way to 7-Way Adapter Recommendation for Installing Brake Controller 2008 Nissan Pathfinder
Question:
I have a 08 Nissan Pathfinder with Factory flat 4 plug. And I ended up getting the kit with all the adapters to do a 7 pin and brake controller my brake controller plugs in with the adapter under the dash but I cant use the two under the back wheels and cannot find one on the passenger side can I unplug the Factory 4 and Just wire in my 7 or do I have to change my whole kit. Thanks

If you plug the 7-way portion of the kit you have to the wiring connector that your 4-way plugs into you'd have the lighting functions covered but would need to wire in the brake controller circuit.
Easiest option for this would be to use the # ETBC7 instead with your current 4-way. Your 4-way would plug into this and then you'd be able to run the blue wire of the adapter up to the blue wire of your controller and you'd be set. This kit comes with everything you'd need to install the brake controller as well.
