Air Suspension for 2017 Nissan Pathfinder

Question:

I have purchased a few items from you guys and they have always been top notch, but now I need help. Im a gigging musician and I pull a 5x10 enclosed trailed with about 500-1000 lbs of keyboard equipment. I pull it with a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. I am very conscious how I load the trailer but it still s the rear of the pathfinder a couple of inches. I checked with my Nissan dealer service rep, that I also gig with, and he said thats normal for the Pathfinder. He also said my tongue weight was not excessive and to look into air suspension help. I would like one point of air fill and the possibility of on-board compressor. What do you recommend?

There is one rear suspension enhancement for your 2017 Nissan Pathfinder, the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4118. These springs can adjust from 5 to 35 psi and will help keep your Pathfinder level from exactly the amount that you haul, at least 500 lbs to no more than 1,000 lbs.

For an onboard compressor you can use the Firestone Air Command II # F2178, which is a dual function compressor that allows you to inflate each of the springs individually to help level your ride. I've added a link to a video of this compressor being installed for you to check out.

I have a similar question. I have a 2017 Pathfinder, and because it's towing capacity is 6000 lbs, I bought a travel trailer with these specs: Dry weigh 3867, Load capacity 1045, Hitch 387, GVWR 5360 I installed a WDH that didn't fully eliminate the squat. Would these airbags be recommended for this situation as well? Thanks

Yes, air springs like the Firestone # F4118 will absolutely push the rear of your Pathfinder the extra length it needs to be level with your trailer attached.
