The Rhino-Rack ROC 25 Roof Rack # RR37TR isn't a fit for your 2017 Volkswagen Passat but the part # RR72MR is. This is the exact same system, just with the correct equipment for a custom fit.
This includes the 2 crossbars and legs for holding them as well as the fit kit which attaches to the legs and clamps around your door jambs to secure the roof rack. If you let me know what you will be using the roof rack for I can make some additional recommendations as well.
