Can Timbren Silent Ride Suspension # TSR14KT01 be Upgraded to Air Bags

Question:

I will be purchasing a new 25ft flatbed gooseneck trailer w/ 2 7k dexter axles. No manufacture will upgrade new trailer to air ride unless they are 10k axles. 1. Can I purchase this TSR14KT01 to upgrade to air ride system ? 2. How much, if any, will this TSR system lift the trailer ? 3. This TSR system is complete meaning do I need to purchase a air compressor, air lines, etc. as other air ride systems perform ?

The Timbren Silent Ride Suspension # TSR14KT01 that you referenced is specifically designed for the double Aeon rubber springs that should not be swapped out for air bags. So to answer your first and third questions, no. The rubber springs are a great alternative to leaf springs (or even air springs) and require virtually no maintenance.

These would be perfect for your 7K tandem axle trailers as long as they have 3" round axles (which is pretty standard). Since I am not sure the dimensions of your current suspension I cannot really determine if they will lift your trailers but I have attached a dimensions diagram from Timbren that you can use to determine where the axles will be sitting and if it will alter the height of your trailers.

We do have the Center Point by Trailair Air-Ride Suspension Upgrade # LC1565391 that will raise the height of your trailer 2" and is compatible with double-eye leaf spring suspension systems on tandem axle trailers. This comes with all of the equipment you need aside from the air compressor.
