Low-Profile Roof Cargo Basket for Limited Garage Clearance and 2016 Subaru Forester
Question:
I have a 2016 Subaru Forester XT with factory aero crossbars. I only have around 6.5” to 7” of clearance into my garage. I know the loadwarror states that it’s 6” in height, but how tall is it from top of crossbars to top of basket, after mounted? Thanks.

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket with Extension Kit Item # Y07070-74 is actually 6-1/2 inches tall so given that you have just 6-1/2 to 7 inches I would not recommend using this particular basket on your 2016 Subaru Forester.
A better option would be a tray-style carrier such as the Pioneer Platform # RR42115BF.
