Recommended Ladder Rack and Tonneau Cover for a 2017 Ram 1500 with the 5-1/2 Bed

Hi, I would like to know which ladder rack would fit with this bed cover. My goal is to have a hard tonneau with a ladder rack so I can transport kayak. I have a 2017 Ram 1500 5,7pi without rambox. Thanks.

I do have a ladder rack and tonneau cover combination for your 2017 Ram 1500 with the 5-1/2' bed but none of them include the RetraxONE MX Hard Tonneau Cover part # RT60230. This cover mounts on top of the bed rails which is the same space needed to mount a ladder rack hence why it is not compatible with any of the options we offer. In order to use a tonneau cover with a ladder rack you would need to find one that mounts inside the bed rails.

I recommend using the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover part # BAK26207 with the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # A4000965. This option will provide you with a very nice hard tri-fold cover in addition to a set of versatile crossbars that can be used to transport your kayak.They both come with a warranty and are made right here in the U.S.A.
