Recommended Bike Rack for a 1993 Miyata MTB on a 2012 Ford Fusion

Hi, I have a 2012 Ford Fusion that has the Draw Tite 24865 Sportframe Trailer hitch installed on it. I am looking to purchase a 2 bike hitch bike rack although I will mostly be using it for transporting my one primary bike which is an older 1993 Miyata MTB with 26” wheel size and weighs in around 30 lbs. Can you please provide a recommendation for a bike rack that is compatible and work well with the vehicle, hitch combination and specified bike I have provided? Thank you for your assistance.

Absolutely! In order to carry your 1993 Miyata MTB on the back of your 2012 Ford Fusion, I recommend using the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider part # HR200Z. This bike rack will be an excellent option for you. It has a raised shank which will improve ground clearance and it has a 45 lb per bike capacity. The arms can be folded up for storage and the rack has a lifetime warranty. If you would like to add locks for both the rack and vehicle then you can do so with part # HRLHPTC.
