Troubleshooting Power Source for Trailer Jack Not Allowing Jack to be Lowered
Question:
I have a 2016 Chevy Express 3500 with 7 way trailer plug. I have an Ultra Fab 3502-7. As I was raising the trailer up off the ground to hitch on to van the power went out. Now I have no power on my 7 way plug from the Van. Is there a fuse that maybe I blew and which one would it be? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
Check under the hood for the fuse for the trailer wiring 12 volt accessory circuit and most likely the fuse and or relay blew. It's also possible the jack you have has a manual override feature as well so you might be able to manually crank the jack down too.
