What Stays on the Trailer and What Stay on the Truck with the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System
Question:
What stays attached to the truck and what stays on trailer ? Do you have to disassemble the whole thing to unhook ? I dont get it. Basically what do I have to do each time I unhook or hook up ?

Expert Reply:
In regards to the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System part # FA92-00-0600, the only part of the system that will need to be removed when you are not towing are the spring bars. There is an L-pin that holds each spring bar in place. Once this is removed you can then pivot the spring bars out of the weight distribution head. The shank and head can be left on the tow vehicle and the frame brackets can be left on the trailer.
I have attached a photo that explain this further for you as well. This process will not require any tools.
