The tubing diameter of the MagnaFlow Pro Aluminized Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System # MF16948 which fits your 2000 Ford F-350 diesel crew cab is 5 inch which is going to flow more than you'd need and would not be a restriction at all. It's also going to increase the volume of the exhaust as well.

4 inch kits like the part # MF18945 won't flow quite as much so if you are looking for the most performance the 5 inch would be the route to go with.
