Replacement RV Trailer Hitch Compatible with Workhorse Chassis
Question:
I am looking for a replacement 2 receiver hitch for a workhourse w16 chassis, weld or bolt on. chassis mount is 33 1/2 inch wide Must be a V type Vs out from the frame mounting points. I can not use a straight one because it will hit a mount bracket that stores my probable waste tank under the chassis. I have a shop that can cut one down, if its too wide. My old one was bent when we were rear ended by a truck. It totaled the Fiat 500 we were towing. The Blue Ox tow bar held up better than the hitch, did not come off the car or motor home but did have some damage. Thank you for your help

We don't have a specific V shaped option compatible with your Workhorse Chassis. The only options we have a straight bars like Multi-Fit Motorhome Trailer Hitch, 24" - 46" wide # 5350.
For your application, it sounds like you will need to have a shop make something custom for you. I recommend starting with the Combo Bar 12" with 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver - Unpainted # E-11 and having something custom welded for your application.
If you were to alter something like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75235, you would void any manufacturer warranty and the rated weights would not be the same.
