Recommended Remote Transmission Cooler for 1999 Saturn SC2

Question:

just had an AT fail and a used one put in. i drive for work so its alot, i think there may be a heat issue going on from my regular stop and go driving. Could an auxiliary cooler be the answer to my problem? The last tranny threw a p0732 on my 1999 saturn Sc2 2nd gear ratio incorrect and this was after slipping for a couple days but after the 1st slip i knew it was about to be toast... and then it was. so thanks i hope to hear back soon, any advice is welcome. considering my job and my current situation which is very bad, this is an absolute emergency situation for me. with the intensity and constant driving for hours id prefer to put some kind of safety in place for my transmission TODAY before i have to drive another 6 hour shift tomorrow. so far today was the only shift i drove it for, but i swear something not feeling right and even tho im not a mechanic, there have been times where i can hear something they dint even notice i think this is just because constantly drive and fear for my cars but yeah. thanks again

A transmission cooler will absolutely help you with the amount of driving you do to help prolong your transmission. The stop and start traffic won't help cool down your system, so I recommend you use the Derale Dyno-Cool Remote Cooler with Fan and Hose Barb Inlets - Class II # D12740 so you will have a fan to keep air moving even if you are at a stop.

I recommend using the Derale Dual Hose Transmission Cooler Installation Kit # D13064. I've attached the installation details to assist.
