Distance From the Upper Mounting Point to the Backside of the Downward Tube on Part # SP501L
Question:
I need a distance of 24” to replace the one I had without having to drill into the rear cap and still have a 5” standoff in order to climb the ladder. This is for a 2004 Alumascape travel trailer. Do you have anything that would work? Can your ladders be cut and an extension piece added? Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.

I do have options for you but none of our exterior ladders match the dimensions you requested. Instead, the closest thing we have to what you are looking for is the Surco Universal Exterior RV Ladder part # SP501L. The distance from the top mounting point to the back of the downward bar is 17" as you can see in the attached photo. This will be the closest option we have to what you are looking for. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend cutting and extending this bar as it would void the warranty of the rack.
