LED Trailer Utility Light Recommendation for Help Backing Up Trailer
Question:
I was wondering if i could splice into my trailer running lights and add a fog light to see while loading the trailer? I tried it, but it blew the headlamp fuse in my truck. Any ideas? thanks,

What you'll need to use is an LED light since they draw such a small amount of amperage. For example, the Opti-Brite LED Work Light # TLL60FB is incredibly bright and only draws 1.1 amps which shouldn't be an issue at all.
I attached an install video for this light for you to check out as well.
