Solution for Attaching Smaller Ring Terminal to Marine Battery for Trailer Jack
Question:
I got a marine battery to power my light duty winch. The battery posts are both too large for the ring eye supplied with the winch. Any adapter? Ordo I have to swap the cables?

The ring terminals are probably designed to attach to the bolts on top of standard battery post terminals but since you don't have them you'd want to cut off the ring terminal and install terminals to them like what a car uses to attach to the battery.
Or if the battery uses side posts the part # DW05417 could be used.
