Installation of Thule Aero Roof Rack on 2017 Honda Accord Sedan

Question:

I have the fit kit, foot pack and arb53 crossbars. The instructions say for the front scale 41 and rear scale 41.5- does that mean to set the black bar for the footpack to install at 41 and 41.5 respectively? I tried that and the front is not wide enough to reach from one side to the other? To be honest the instructions seem to be lacking some important information. please help

For your 2017 Honda Accord Sedan, the roof rack consisting of the Thule WingBar # TH711420 that replaced the AeroBlade, the feet # TH480R, and Fit Kit # THKIT1720 you mentioned will install with the closest part of the front foot 11 inches back from your windshield seal. Then with the front bar in place, you will measure the crossbar spread 26 inches on center to determine the rear rail location.

The front crossbar will be roughly 41-3/4 inches and the rear bar will be roughly 42 inches wide at the inner part of the foot pack. I've attached some photos and a video to assist.
