Fit of Curt Class I Receiver on 2003 Nissan 350Z
Question:
How come this shows this hitch works for a 2004 350Z but not for a 2003 350Z? I thought there was no difference between a 03 and a 05 350Z?

I spoke with one of the Tech Support folks at Curt Manufacturing to see if they could shed any light on why their 11483 Class I receiver hitch fits the 2004 model 350Z, but not the 2003 model.
The simple answer is that this is a vehicle that does not see too much demand for a hitch installation. Curt has not had access to a 2003 model to do testing on. The hitch may indeed fit, but no testing has been done to confirm nor disprove it. Curt will not claim that a particular receiver hitch is suitable for a vehicle until full testing has been completed.
