Among the nicest trunk-mount racks on the market are Thule's OutWay 2-bike trunk rack # TH45JV and the 3-bike version # TH56BV. These racks are confirmed to fit with the factory spoiler on your 2003 VW Jetta sedan. I double-checked with my contact at Thule. These and all other options are shown on the linked page.
