Will Bulldog 2Speed Planetary Jacks Work With Gooseneck Trailer With Bulldog 12,000LB Single Speed
Question:
I have a Gooseneck trailer with dual Bulldog 12,000 LB jacks but they are not 2 speed. Will this unit still work? I notice it has a capacity of 5,500 lbs and I’m assuming that’s why you need the lower gear of the two speed but just wanted to make sure.

When reaching out to my contact at Bulldog they confirmed that the 2 speed jack would be fine to operate your trailer. The Item that you referenced # BD1824180100 works best with a 2-speed Planetary Jack.
However, the Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit for Single-Speed Jacks # BD1824200100 fits Bulldog single-speed jacks with 12,000-lb.capacity and will work for you because your existing trailer jacks are single speed.
