Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 1990 Toyota Box Truck
Question:
Can you recommend a specific hitch for the 1990 Toyota U-Haul variation? I dont mind cutting a hole for access through the large step bumper but would prefer something that tucks right up underneath

I do have options for you but nothing that will be a direct fit for your 1990 Toyota "U-Haul Variation". Instead, you will want to look at universal options such as the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 41990-16. This hitch has 16" tall mounting brackets that can be cut, drilled, or welded to fit your exact needs. The heavy duty hitch offers a max gross trailer weight up to 16,000 lb and a max tongue weight up to 1,600 lbs. It comes with a lifetime warranty.
