Will Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System Fit a Casita Travel Trailer with C-Channel Frame
Question:
1 I am mainly concerned about the trailer having a C channel 3x1.5 when the install instructions all show box channel. 2 I am also concerned that I will have to do the install per the instructions for Fig. 4 although that is for the lighter weight 250-400 lb. model. 3 Also I will need to install in a specific space below the gas tanks at 27 in picture. I realize I may have to do some kind of mod to raise the gas tanks where they wind up sitting on the 1/2 diameter mounting bolt.

Based on your picture the Reese Steadi-Flex system # RP66558 would have to have the frame brackets mounted at the 32 inch location because the propane bottle/brackets are in the way for the rest of the system's range. The propane tank holder would then not be in the way.
The frame will need to be boxed to use this system (or basically any system). To do that have a professional welder weld on steel plates in the area the brackets need to go.
This system does not include a ball so for a compatible 2 inch ball use # 63845 or for a 2-5/16 inch use # 63847.
