Brake Controller Recommendation for 2000 Ford F-250

Where is the fuse on a 2000 Ford F-250. Im not receiving #4 pin on 7 way trailer connector

I believe you are referring to the 4:00 pin of your 7-way which is for the brake controller output circuit. This circuit will not be active unless you have a brake controller installed in your 2000 Ford F-250.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller part # 90195. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes. This will be the last brake controller you buy. It can easily be transferred to future vehicles as well.

To install it all you'd need is the part # 3035-P which will plug into the port under your dash and you'd be set.
