Will a Fulton Trailer Jack Fit the Same Weld On Mount Used by a Shelby Jack
Question:
I have a Shelby weld on trailer jack that is rated for 750 lbs. I want to switch to higher weight rated jack = 1200lbs. Can I reuse the same welded bracket that is already on the trailer?

Expert Reply:
It is possible that you can reuse the same mount. It depends on the style of the jack you have and the one you want to replace it with.
For example, the Fulton Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack, # FTJ120W0301, has a mounting bracket with an inner diameter of 2-1/2 inches. It uses a 3/8 inch pull pin. If it does not match what you have on the trailer, the jack does come with a new weld-on bracket that you can use.
