I HAVE A 20 FT GRADY WHITE THE BOAT WIEGHS APPROX 3500/ MOTOR 500 GEAR 300 WHAT SIZE WINCH DO I NEED I WOULD FEEL BETTER A LITTLE LARGER THANKS

Because a boat is a floating load (rolling load), you will not have to have one that matches the weight of the boat. But if you want to go larger you can certainly do so. The Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch, # DL25200, would be more than enough for your application. I have included a link to the installation details for you to view.
